DAF system is mainly used to remove the suspended solids, colloid and most organic pollutant in the sewage pretreatment process. The alum grain is formed well ( large and dense ) in the reaction zone, then the overall scum is clustered well and scrapped in the flotation area, so that the effluent is relatively clear and it can reduce the processing load for the subsequent biochemical tank.
